In 2012, CPAP will be offering quarterly subject updates for each of the VCE ¾ Units:

·         Business Management

·         Economics

·         Legal Studies

·         Global Politics
 
The updates are primarily designed to provide teachers and students with a summary of the recent developments that have taken place in each subject area, thereby supplementing the relevant text.  The CPAP updates will specifically focus on the key knowledge points within each area of study for each subject, providing greater focus for teachers/students.  

The first update will be delivered in the fourth week Term 1 and will incorporate the latest developments that relate to the key knowledge points for AOS 1 in Unit 3 for each of the relevant subjects (In the case of BM and LS, the first update will incorporate AOS 1 and 2).  The second update will be delivered in the third week Term 2 and will incorporate the latest developments that relate to the key knowledge points for AOS 2 in Unit 3.  The same format will be applied for Unit 4. In updates 2 -4 any major recent occurrences relating to earlier areas of study that were not covered previous updates will also be included.  
 
Each update will include review questions and an application exercise, which will make them an excellent resource for teachers and students.  The electronic delivery of each update will provide a perfect opportunity to provide extension/holiday work that consolidates their contemporary understanding of each AOS.  There is no need to photocopy material, as each update can be forwarded directly to students or uploaded onto the school intranet! The complete set of CPAP updates for each subject will provide essential exam preparation material for students. 

The updates will cost as little as $1 per student (based on a class size of 22) and are purchased individually for $22 per class per subject (inclusive of a copyright license and GST), or for $80 per class for the entire set of four updates (inclusive of a copyright license and GST).  Order forms will be available in early 2012.
